Prime Minister Receives the Study of Yemeni Migration- Reciprocal Impacts

The Prime Minister of Yemen received a Study of Yemeni Migration- Reciprocal Impactson Sunday, July 23, 2023, in Sana'a. The study was conducted by the Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development, with generous sponsorship from the late businessman Alwan Saeed Al Shaibani.


The study was conducted by nearly 40 researchers, academics, and experts from South Asia, India, Africa, Europe, and the United States. It aims to highlight the countless positive achievements and roles of Yemeni migrants inside Yemen and abroad. The study also seeks to identify the challenges faced by Yemeni migrants and develop policies to support them.


The study was presented to the Prime Minister by the Vice President of the Al-Khair Foundation, Jamal Omar. Omar said that the study was an important step in highlighting the role of Yemeni migrants in the national economy and supporting their efforts to improve the lives of their families and the Yemeni society as a whole.


The Prime Minister thanked the Al-Khair Foundation and the late Alwan Saeed Al Shaibani for their support of the study. He also expressed his appreciation to all those who contributed to the project.
The Prime Minister said that the study would be a valuable resource for policymakers and would help to improve the lives of Yemeni migrants. He also said that he would work to implement the recommendations of the study.
