Planting 100 Fruitful Coffee Trees Initiative

"Planting 100 Fruitful Coffee Trees" is an initiative funded by AKF, held during the period from 20 to 25, April 2021. It aims to educate the community about the importance of improving the neighborhood of Shumaila through undertaking a clean-up and afforestation campaign, through which100 coffee plants were planted in the neighborhood. This initiative also aims to instill the values of participation, perseverance, and responsibility throughout society to improve neighborhoods during the circumstances that our country is going through. Poor families were also given a fruitful coffee tree as a source of income. The coffee tree was chosen for its ability to withstand drought and erosion factors.
