Al-Khair Foundation Presents the Study of Yemeni Migration-Reciprocal Impacts to Shura Council Chairman

The Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development presented a study on the reciprocal impacts of Yemeni migration to the Chairman of the Shura Council on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Sana'a. The study was funded by the Foundation with generous sponsorship from the late businessman Alwan Saeed Al Shaibani and was executed by nearly 40 researchers, academics, and experts.
The study highlights the positive impacts of Yemeni migrants all around the world. It also identifies the challenges faced by Yemeni migrants and suggests policies to support them.
The study was presented to the Shura Council Chairman by the Vice Chairman of the Al-Khair Foundation, Jamal Omar. Omar said that the study aims to document the positive and effective roles of Yemeni expatriates and migrants and to shed light on their contributions in various fields of life and their role in civilizational and humanitarian development in the different countries they migrated to.
The Shura Council Chairman expressed his deep appreciation for the study and said that it would be a valuable resource for policymakers. He also said that he would work to implement the recommendations of the study.
The study is a significant contribution to the understanding of Yemeni migration. It is the first study of its kind to be conducted in Yemen and it provides a comprehensive overview of the issue.
